A Ridgecrest group calling themselves the "Women Build" built a Habitat home at 1040 W. Iowa in the spring of 2006. The local group were all women. However, men and women from out of town participated in the construction through the "RV-Care-a-Vanners". These RV-Care-a-Vanners came from Alaska, Bishop, and many other locations. Jessica and her family appreciate all the hard work provided by the RV-Care-a-Vanners to make her a proud homeowner. For more information, visit Jessica's web page.
