Home Dedicated for Doris and Family, June, 2007

Doris Carbajal and family are enjoying their Habitat for Humanity home at Mariposa St. She has been able to care for a daughter with stage four breast cancer. Also, her grandson was able to focus better in school at her home in a quieter neighborhood. He has since graduated from high school and is now in college. Doris has enlisted help from her church, the Church of Christ, to gather donations for Habitat for Humanity. Doris feels very happy to provide a nice, safe, and quiet house for her family as they come and go to college, etc.

Doris has attended Cerro Coso College taking child development classes to further her education.
